What do Fridays at Sound & Stage look like?

Fridays are full of creativity, collaboration, and hands-on fun at Sound & Stage Academy! Our all-day drop-off program offers a dynamic schedule of immersive classes for ages 5–18, designed to spark imagination, build artistic skills, and foster community.

Students explore a variety of creative disciplines throughout the day, guided by passionate instructors in a supportive, engaging environment. With a mix of artistic exploration, performance, and connection, Fridays are the perfect blend of artistry and innovation, plus a dedicated lunch hour to recharge and bond with friends.

Ages 5 - 7

Our youngest artists spend Fridays diving into a world of color, creativity, and joyful movement! This full-day drop-off program is specially designed for ages 5–7, offering hands-on artmaking, playful storytelling, and beginner-friendly performing arts.

From sculpting with clay and building with LEGO to drawing, painting, and exploring digital worlds through Minecraft Education, every class nurtures curiosity and creative thinking. Kids will also move, groove, and shine in musical theatre and Broadway dance, play theatre games in improv, and bring stories to life in our whimsical Story Studio.

With gentle guidance from our caring instructors and plenty of time to move, make, and imagine, this is a day your little creative won’t want to miss!

Ages 8 - 11

Fridays at Sound & Stage for ages 8–11 are all about imagination, expression, and innovation. Students rotate through a dynamic mix of classes that blend performance, visual arts, and digital creativity.

Whether they're building in Minecraft Education, singing their hearts out in Broadway Choir, taking center stage in Musical Theatre, or crafting characters in Cartooning and Digital Art, every class is designed to challenge and inspire. With a balance of tech-based exploration and stage-worthy storytelling, students develop confidence, collaboration, and creative skills they’ll carry into every part of life.

It’s a high-energy, joy-filled day for the growing artist who loves to learn by doing!

Ages 12 - 18

Fridays at Sound & Stage for ages 12–18 are designed for aspiring filmmakers, performers, writers, and creative thinkers ready to bring bold ideas to life. Students dive into dynamic, project-based classes that blend storytelling, digital creation, and performance.

From scripting scenes and filming original shorts to building cinematic trailers and exploring world-building through Minecraft Education, teens sharpen both their artistic voice and technical skills. In Musical Theatre, they’ll work on character, choreography, and ensemble collaboration, all while growing their presence on stage and screen.

It’s a fun, hands-on day that challenges students to create, perform, and produce their own original work in a supportive, artist-driven environment.
